"From 1977 onwards, the Deutsche Reichsbahn purchased 200 of the 119 series diesel locomotives from Ro-mania. The 119 003 locomotive was the second to be produced in the pre-production series, since the 119 004 was delivered a few days beforehand.
The 119 series locomotives were given the new number of 219 by Deutsche Bahn AG and remained in use until 2004. The 119 003 is still on display at the Saxon Railway Museum (Sächsisches Eisenbahnmuseum) in Hilbersdorf today."
